We are certified to scrap cars and remove them from the registry.<\/p>\n\n

EU’s End of Life Vehicles Directive states that when a car is scrapped, at least 85% of its parts have to be recycled.<\/p>\n\n

By scrapping your car at Osatuonti Felke or Autopurkamo Ale-Osa, you can be assured that your car will be recycled with nature in mind, as stated in the European ELV-directive. Our chosen partner regarding recycling is Kuusakoski Oy.<\/p>\n

What we do for you:<\/h2>
  • stop all of the car’s insurance-, motive power tax- and diesel fuel tax on the day of scrapping<\/li>
  • recycle the car’s registration plates<\/li>
  • provide you with an official certificate of scrapping<\/li>
  • delete your car from the registry of vehicles<\/li><\/ul>

    What you need to do:<\/h2>
    • when you bring us your car, please take the car’s registration document and your ID with you. If you don’t own the car in question or the car has multiple owners, you need to have a document (power of attorney) proving that you have the right to scrap the car<\/li>
    • contact us and we’ll settle the details<\/li><\/ul>

      About your car:<\/h2>
      • the car must be complete and the VIN-number has to be readable<\/li>
      • you can leave all driving-related apparel in the car, for example a roof rack<\/li>
      • there can also be another set of tires, an old battery and\/or other parts from the same vehicle inside the car<\/li>
      • there cannot be anything not belonging to the car inside it, for example waste or additional liquids<\/li><\/ul>
